New Generation Audi Q7: Release Details and Specifications

Release Date

Audi will release its new generation of Q7 late next year as a 2015 model. The release date has been pushed back due to late changes in the car’s designs.

Weight Reduction

Thanks to the use of materials like aluminium and some composite materials, Audi engineers will shed around 650 pounds from the curb weight of the current Q7.

Engine Specifications

Regarding the powertrain, the engines will include:

• 3.0 L TFSI
• 4.0 L TFSI
• 3.0 TDI

A hybrid model is also expected according to Audi’s CEO Rupert Stadler.

Interior Design

It is anticipated that Audi will incorporate its usual elegant designs for the interior, along with an option for third-row seating.
