Ford event in Jordan

So, we are currently in Jordan for a media event. We are hosted by the people from Ford Middle East in Amman Jordan. The whole idea behind this event is to feel the offroading prowess of the American brand. So, we will be driving across Jordan through various terrains in different offerings from Ford like the F-150, Explorer, Expedition and the new Ford Edge.
Yes, we are the first publication in the Middle East to test the all-new Ford Edge. This is the second generation Ford Edge (the previous Ford Edge was basically a facelift). This model was showcased way back in 2013 and went on sale in the US last year. Then, it became available in Europe and now it is going to debut in the Middle East.
The new Ford Edge features all-new platform and looks derived from the Taurus and Explorer. In addition, customers will find new headlights, LED taillights, and increased space in the interior and a rear view camera. There is a new 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine as well. This new engine produces 208 BHP and 450 Nm of torque. The other engine options include the 3.5 liter V6 engine and the top-spec 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6 engine. All Edge models will be coming with all-wheel-drive as standard. The transmission will be the standard 6-speed automatic.
