Ford Territory lands in the Middle East with modern design

Ford has unveiled the all new Territory in the Middle East. The 5 seater has some very muscular and commanding looks thanks to the Blue Oval’s ‘Progressive Energy in Strength’ design philosophy which emphasises on three fundamental design principles: commanding, agile, and responsive.

On the outside the Territory has sleek looking LED daytime running lights integrated into a  horizontal grille bar. A sharp crease runs under the beltline and all the way to the rear of the SUV giving it an aggressive look.

Step inside and you will find a 12.3-inch high-definition digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The latter can be operated by the user’s finger or via a rotary dial. The interior has a very plush look overall with strong horizontal lines, soft-wrapped inserts and a double-deck console design.

The Territory has undergone some rigorous testing thereby making it ready for the Middle East. Ford tested the SUV’s three prototypes on different terrains over 18 months which included two summer cycles. This means that the Territory was put to work in temperatures ranging between 43°C and 49°C.

“The all-new Ford Territory was built for young, smart, and connected customers. It has a modern design and advanced technology features that deliver a highly exciting and progressive customer experience,” said Ravi Ravichandran, Executive Director at Ford Middle East.

Maurizio Tocco, Chief Designer, Ford Territory, commented: “We really focused on three key areas that we felt were important for our customers when designing the all-new Territory. It had to have a commanding presence on the road, a sense of spaciousness inside, and smart technology that was integrated into the design”.
