Andreas, an automotive aficionado and member of Gumball 7 – Tuners and Muscles, is the proud owner of one jaw-dropping Honda S2000.

Name:

Andreas Tham

Vehicle you own:

2005 Honda S2000 - AP2

What got you into cars:

Growing up in Hong Kong with the annual Macau Grand Prix taking place next door, was undoubtedly a large contributing factor. Watching Mitsubishi Evos, Honda Civics, Subaru WRXs, Nissan Skylines, and Toyota AE86s race around the mountain passes and highways of the city, also helped build my passion.

However, that’s not to say we can discount the influence that arcade games, movies, comics and anime have played in my life. Gran Turismo, Battle Gear, Initial D, Ferrari Challenge, Wangan Midnight – Maximum Tune, Gone in 60 Seconds, and Driven, are just a few that have nurtured my automotive passion.

What’s unique about your car:

Straight out of the factory, the Honda S2000 is ready to hit the racetrack with a 2.0-liter engine that churns out nearly 250 horsepower and squeezes the most out of each gear before topping out at a symphonic 9,000 RPM! Custom bits and pieces include a Nardi steering wheel, Cusco strut bar, HKS headers, Enkei RPF1 wheels in black chrome, and a set of lowering springs. It’s my track, drift, autocross, gymkhana, and daily grocery-getter, you see!

What upgrades do you have in the pipeline:

Upgrades would definitely be geared towards an even more focused track set-up. First off would be a decent set of coil overs, a Voltex front bumper, a diffuser, a wing, a splitter, and possibly an engine tune too. I'd eventually like to go wide with over-fenders to fit wider wheels for more grip as well.

Name one car you’d swap yours for:

The rule is simple – Honda for a Honda, so it’d have to be the legendary NSX. Actually, a Nissan Skyline R34 wouldn’t be too bad either.
