Automotive Passion

What Got You into Cars?

Growing up in Hong Kong with the annual Macau Grand Prix taking place next door was undoubtedly a large contributing factor. Watching Mitsubishi Evos, Honda Civics, Subaru WRXs, Nissan Skylines, and Toyota AE86s race around the mountain passes and highways of the city also helped build my passion.

However, that’s not to say we can discount the influence that arcade games, movies, comics, and anime have played in my life. Titles like Gran Turismo, Battle Gear, Initial D, Ferrari Challenge, Wangan Midnight – Maximum Tune, Gone in 60 Seconds, and Driven are just a few that have nurtured my automotive passion.

What's Unique About Your Car?

Straight out of the factory, the Honda S2000 is ready to hit the racetrack with a 2.0-liter engine that churns out nearly 250 horsepower and squeezes the most out of each gear before topping out at a symphonic 9,000 RPM! Custom bits and pieces include:

  • Nardi steering wheel
  • Cusco strut bar
  • HKS headers
  • Enkei RPF1 wheels in black chrome
  • Set of lowering springs

It’s my track, drift, autocross, gymkhana, and daily grocery-getter, you see!

Future Upgrades

Upgrades would definitely be geared towards an even more focused track set-up. First off would be:

  1. A decent set of coil overs
  2. A Voltex front bumper
  3. A diffuser
  4. A wing
  5. A splitter
  6. Possibly an engine tune

I'd eventually like to go wide with over-fenders to fit wider wheels for more grip as well.

Potential Car Swap

The rule is simple – Honda for a Honda, so it’d have to be the legendary NSX. Actually, a Nissan Skyline R34 wouldn’t be too bad either.
