The Infiniti Prototype 9 Concept is reminiscent of the Silver Arrow and takes inspiration from race cars of yesteryear. A minimalist exterior design is created by a culmination of handcrafted aluminum panels, an open cockpit, and exposed wheels with a wire-mesh design.
Despite the retro styling, the Prototype 9 Concept is engineered to modern standards. Loosely based on the powertrain of the next-generation Nissan Leaf, the rear-mounted electric motor works in conjunction with a 30kWh battery pack to generate 148 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque.

While the power figures may not seem like much, it is worth noting that the Prototype 9 Concept weighs just 890 kilograms. Due to its nimbleness, the concept will accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.5-seconds and hit a limited top speed of 168 km/h.
Disappointing, is its odd hood ornament and lackluster grille which seems extremely out of place. Flat out, the Prototype 9 Concept will also run dry in a shocking 20 minutes, much like a battery powered R/C car.
