Scion brand will cease to exist

Posted by Mansoor A. Bukhari on Feb 8, 2016

Scion, as most of the people in this region are not aware of, is a sub brand of Toyota focusing mainly on youth. This is proven by the fact that the average age of a Scion customer is 36. But, this youth brand will soon be no more as confirmed by Toyota. The Scion brand will cease to exist once 2017 models are launched in the market – that will be August onwards.

So, what happens to the Scion models? Well, all the existing models except the tC coupe will carry the Toyota badge in the future. This includes the FR-S, iA and iM. Moreover, the newly previewed C-HR concept can also be launched as under Toyota. The FR-S is already sold as the GT86.
