Shell launches popular Lube Advisor service to customers in the Middle East

Who doesn’t know Shell. The British oil company is famous for its pioneering advancement in the field of lubricants. People only see the machines, cars, trucks going on the roads but in truth it's the lubricant that ensures smooth functioning of all the mechanical stuff around us.

Shell has now launched a new service called Lube Advisor where a Shell personnel will suggest customers the perfect lubricant for their machinery. And the best part is that the service is available remotely.

Shell has given their Lube Advisors wearable technology which enables them to be connected with the customers no matter where the two parties are. With the Lube Advisor, Shell says it is looking to equip frontline workers in oil and gas, construction, transport and the manufacturing sectors with the technology which will enable them to “engage with offsite experts for over the shoulder coaching, communicate for status of equipment and tools.” All this will in turn improve safety, efficiency and results of the machinery. 

This pioneering new Lube Advisor tech is now available to customers all around the Middle East including the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.

“These wearable devices are made to withstand extreme temperature variations and resist oil, chemical spills, heavy rain, and dust among other things, making the working environment more secure,” he concluded.
