Things you didn’t know about the Brabus C Class

Founded in 1977, German aftermarket tuner Brabus, has proved time and again that it knows how to make the best, even better. Having earned a reputation for tuning vehicles that don the Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Maybach insignia, its newest creation comes in the form of a W205 Mercedes Benz C Class.

Extending its capabilities to a broader segment, Brabus’ newest line-up isn’t restricted to just AMG fanatics, but owners of the standard model as well. The aerodynamic treatment seen in the images, sees the Merc sporting a front spoiler, air intake trims, a rear diffuser, 20-inch twin-spoke wheels, a sports suspension set-up and an inconspicuous rear spoiler.

On the list of additional equipment, is a quad-pipe sports exhaust system (one that we thoroughly recommend) and a lowering kit that has been developed in conjunction with Bilstein. On the power front, three kits are available with a boost of 20 horsepower, 40 horsepower, and 31 horsepower, for the C180, C200, and C250 respectively.

The additional power, sees the C180 hit the 100 km/h mark in 8.4 seconds, the C200 in 7 seconds, and the C250 in a mighty impressive 6.3 seconds – all well in line with the Alcantara clad and leather wrapped sporty interior of the Brabus C Class.
