Mercedes Benz C Class 2016 Brabus - Performance and Tuning Overview
Introduction to Brabus
Founded in 1977, German aftermarket tuner Brabus has proved time and again that it knows how to make the best, even better. Known for tuning vehicles that bear the Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Maybach insignia, Brabus has introduced its newest creation: the W205 Mercedes Benz C Class.
Brabus Enhancements for the C Class
Extending its capabilities to a broader segment, Brabus’ newest line-up isn’t restricted to just AMG fanatics but also caters to owners of the standard model. The aerodynamic treatment includes:
- Front spoiler
- Air intake trims
- Rear diffuser
- 20-inch twin-spoke wheels
- Sports suspension set-up
- Inconspicuous rear spoiler
Performance Upgrades
Among the additional equipment, a quad-pipe sports exhaust system is available, which we highly recommend. A lowering kit has been developed in conjunction with Bilstein. In terms of power, three kits are available with the following boosts:
- C180: Boost of 20 horsepower
- C200: Boost of 40 horsepower
- C250: Boost of 31 horsepower
Acceleration Performance
The additional power allows the C180 to reach 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, the C200 in 7 seconds, and the C250 in a remarkable 6.3 seconds. All of these performance figures align perfectly with the Alcantara clad and leather-wrapped sporty interior of the Brabus C Class.
