The Aston Martin DB5 is one of the most famous cars in the world, having been the vehicle of the secret agent 007 James Bond in the first film of the series released in 1964.
Production of the New Version
Aston Martin is returning to produce this iconic model in exclusive editions at the company's facility in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire. Only 25 cars will be produced in collaboration with ON Productions, the company behind the James Bond film Goldfinger, which will incorporate a range of gadgets used in the movie to enhance its uniqueness.

Price of the New Version
The price for this unique piece will be £2.75 million plus taxes. The new DB5 "DB5 Goldfinger" is the latest and most valuable model in the new car program that the British luxury car manufacturer launched in 2017.
Design and Development Process
Designing and developing the new DB5 Goldfinger takes approximately 4,500 hours of labor in the Special Operations department at Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell. This department is currently the largest global facility for Aston Martin, equipped with the latest tools and expertise necessary for the restoration and maintenance of the brand's sports cars.

Technical Specifications
The car features aluminum body panels that are characteristic of the original DB5, wrapping around a steel chassis. It is powered by a 4-liter six-cylinder engine, capable of generating 290 horsepower. Additionally, it comes equipped with a ZF manual five-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Director's Statement
Clive Wilson, the director of the historic car program and a key figure in developing and producing the new DB5 Goldfinger, stated: "We are undoubtedly excited to see the first customer cars as they pass through various rigorous and precise production stages." It has been over 50 years since Aston Martin has produced any DB5 cars.
Delivery Dates
Deliveries of the new DB5 Goldfinger to fortunate customers are set to begin in the second half of 2020.
