Cairo Public Transport Ticket Prices for 2025

Dr. Ibrahim Saber, the Governor of Cairo, has approved the new fare structure for public transport lines across Greater Cairo. The regular bus ticket price is now 9 EGP, up from 8 EGP, affecting 186 lines in the capital. Meanwhile, the fare for the air-conditioned public bus has increased to 17 EGP from 15 EGP on 11 bus lines.

For the fare structure of collective transport services in Cairo, the ticket for a regular minibus is now 14 EGP, increased from 12 EGP, while the air-conditioned minibus ticket is set at 17 EGP, up from 15 EGP.

Details:

• Regular bus ticket: 9 EGP instead of 8 EGP.
• Air-conditioned bus ticket: 17 EGP instead of 15 EGP.
• Public transport companies: Regular minibus 14 EGP, air-conditioned minibus 17 EGP.
