The Corvette ZR1X is the ultimate American hypercar

Chevrolet has unveiled the most lethal Corvette to date - the ZR1X. This, ladies and gentlemen, is America’s ultimate answer to Italian supercars. This is a twin-turbocharged LT7 V8, 1,250 horsepower monster that can do 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds.

Pure Powertrain: Combustion Meets Electric Mastery

At its core sits the LT7, a 5.5-liter flat-crank V8 that produces 1,064 hp. Chevrolet pairs it with a 186-hp electric motor driving the front axle, resulting in combined output of 1,250 hp and seamless all-wheel-drive performance. 

Chevrolet claims the ZR1X blasts from 0–60 mph in less than 2 seconds and conquers the quarter-mile in under 9 seconds, with top speeds above 150 mph. That puts it ahead of far pricier hypercars like the Ferrari F80. WOW

Carbon-Fibre Styling: Beauty Meets Brutality

This isn’t your average ‘Vette. Every corner boasts purposeful carbon-fibre aero - from the splitter and dive planes to splitter roof and massive rear wing - generating over 1,200 lbs of downforce. The cockpit pops in brushed aluminium and Alcantara, while minimalist styling keeps it focused on performance, not flash.

Race-Tuned Tech: Track Cred You Can Feel

Inside, the ZR1X is built for aggression. It features PTM Pro, Corvettes’ advanced Performance Traction Management, with selectable modes that tailor torque distribution, regeneration, and stability control making it perfect for track aficionados. Monitoring is clear and precise thanks to live performance data feeds and a driver-oriented cockpit layout.

There will be two versions of the ZR1X: the standard version has a smaller rear wing and Michelin PS4S tires for a top speed of 233 mph or more, while the ZTK package adds more downforce thanks to the enormous rear wing and Michelin Cup2R tires.

Production Mission: Total Chevrolet Commitment

Unlike limited-run specials, the ZR1X is a fully integrated model, born from program-first design. Expected to hit dealers late 2025, early units will turn heads wherever they go with price tags nestled firmly in the American hypercar league of $190,000–$200,000.
