Daniel Ricciardo confirmed as new F1 Driver for Red Bull

Red Bull has confirmed that 24-year-old Daniel Ricciardo is their newest driver of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, and he will be competing alongside the current world champion, Sebastian Vettel, in this coming 2014 season. Daniel Riccardio is replacing Mark Webber.

Ricciardo was born in Perth, Australia and has competed in F1 since 2011, and joined Red Bull Tacing feeder team, Scuderia Toro Rosso in 2012.

After hearing the good news, Ricciardo said: “I feel very, very good at the moment, and obviously there's a lot of excitement running through me,” adding, “Next year I’ll be with a Championship-winning team, arguably the best team, and will be expected to deliver.”
