To boost the safety and security of drivers in the emirate, Dubai Police has started using drones linked to operation rooms. These drones provide live footage of traffic congestion and accidents on the roads to police officers via 4G technology.

The deployed drones can transmit clear images of traffic congestion or incidents directly to the control room, assisting the public in choosing alternative routes to minimize peak hour traffic jams.
Benefits of Drones
The drones, equipped with advanced cameras and communication systems, deliver real-time videos and thermal images to the central command center. This capability allows the Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) and Dubai Police to better plan rapid responses for rescue missions or emergencies.
