Dubai RTA and Emirates NBD Launch Installment Payment Service for Traffic Fines

Introduction
In an effort to alleviate the burden of hefty traffic fines and expensive parking fees, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai, in collaboration with Emirates NBD, has launched a new service that allows for installment payments of fines and parking card fees. According to an RTA official, various payment periods can be utilized through credit cards without any interest.
Service Details
Ahmad Al Kaabi, Executive Director of Finance at RTA, stated: "The RTA has agreed with Emirates NBD on a plan to pay seasonal parking fees and fines through installments without interest over various periods, either three, six, nine, or twelve months. This initiative aims to ease the burden on car owners regarding the payment of fines and seasonal parking fees by providing longer payment durations without interest."
How to Access the Service
The service can be accessed either through the Emirates NBD App or at the RTA's point-of-sale locations.

Ahmed Al Marzouqi, Deputy CEO of Emirates NBD, remarked: "We are pleased to be among the first banks collaborating with the RTA to launch this unique initiative, providing our customers with a fast, seamless, and flexible system for paying fines and seasonal parking fees."
