Introduction

Geely, a Chinese automotive company and owner of Volvo, has revealed the Geely Emgrand GT equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. With this launch, Geely becomes the first Chinese manufacturer to introduce a high-performance vehicle in the Gulf region.

Engine and Technology

The 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 270 horsepower and 326 Nm of torque, joining the existing 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine in the production lineup. The aluminum chassis enhances power delivery and reduces fuel consumption by 5%.

Design of the Geely Emgrand GT

The Geely Emgrand GT was designed by veteran British designer Peter Horbury, former head of design at Volvo. He leads a large team of over 350 global designers located in Gothenburg, Barcelona, Los Angeles, and Shanghai, resulting in the exceptional design of the Emgrand GT.
