Chery's latest hybrids, the Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid and Tiggo 8 Pro Hybrid, stepped into the spotlight at GIMS Qatar 2023. While the Tiggo 8 Pro Hybrid mirrors its e+ variant, the Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid made its global debut at the Geneva International Motor Show 2023 in Qatar. Tiggo 8 Pro Hybrid
A full-sized SUV, the Tiggo 8 Pro boasts Chery's plug-in-hybrid setup, uniting a petrol engine with a hybrid powertrain. The 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine partners with a PMS electric motor, synchronized with a 19.27kWh battery pack. This dynamic duo is hitched to an eCVT gearbox for seamless gearshifts.

Design Features
Externally, the design remains consistent with the Tiggo 8 Pro Max, with the addition of a plug-in hybrid charging port on the left-side front fender. Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid
The Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid inherits its design and features from its ICE counterpart, the 7 Pro Max. This hybrid version retains its 5-seater mid-size SUV status, carrying over all the tech from its ICE sibling. The only mystery at present is the powertrain concealed beneath the hood.
Powertrain Speculation
Given Chery's current reliance on the Kunpeng e+ PHEV powertrain, which drives the Tiggo 8 Pro Hybrid, it's plausible that the same powertrain will find a home in the Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, possibly in a slightly subdued state of tune.
