Today, Honda Motors announced three new products for the Middle East and North Africa during a virtual launch held on its YouTube channel and through distributor social media channels.
- All-New Honda City 2021
- Redesigned Honda Accord 2021
- All-New CBR 600RR
Remarks from Executives During the Virtual Event
Takayuki Yamashita
Mr. Takayuki Yamashita – Director, Honda Cars, Africa and Middle East Office, opened the virtual event with his thoughts on the challenges facing the region and Honda's commitment.
"On behalf of Honda Cars, I must say we are very impressed and grateful for the way this region has handled COVID-19, which clearly demonstrates the excellent leadership and guidance provided by the heads of state in Africa and the Middle East. Even during these challenging times, all our partners have come together to provide our customers with new offerings that bring them joy along with refreshed products. This reflects Honda's commitment to this region. I am confident that with the launch of these new products and the love and affection our customers have shown us, we will be able to overcome these tough times."
Anup Ravindranath
Mr. Anup Ravindranath, Senior General Manager, Honda Cars, Honda Motor Company (Africa and Middle East Office), spoke about the brand's new direction in the region.
"For the next few years, 'Advanced and Sporty' will be the direction for Honda in this region. For us at Honda, being advanced and sporty is not just about performance and driving technology; it also needs to stimulate our senses, which we feel when sitting inside and experiencing freedom. These values define Honda."

CBR600RR
Here, he highlighted how the CBR600RR and CBR1000RR inherited the RCV213 MotoGP racing bike, the various enhancements to the bike's exterior for improved aerodynamics, the upgraded suspension system, and advanced rider control technologies.
Honda Accord 2021
The redesigned Honda Accord 2021 features an updated design and advanced technology. With the introduction of new advanced features across all trims and a sporty new exterior color, the redesigned Accord 2021 offers a rich array of values.
Honda City 2021
The all-new Honda City 2021 comes in four trims, including a sporty variant for the first time. The City is the longest and widest sedan in its class, offering an attractive design, unparalleled comfort, advanced safety features, and class-leading fuel efficiency along with segment-leading amenities such as rear air conditioning vents and advanced connectivity options.
