Police officials report that an increasing number of women have been violating traffic rules in Dubai. The details of the top 10 women traffic violators for the last year have been released by General Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Head of Traffic at Dubai Police.

Top Women Traffic Violators

1. First Place: A Bangladeshi woman with 257 violations and fines totaling Dh201,140. Her car was impounded for 1,837 days. She tops the list for not paying the fines and is wanted by investigating teams for speeding.
2. Second Place: A Syrian woman with 288 offenses and fines amounting to Dh186,900. Her car was impounded for 45 days.
3. Sixth Place: An Indian woman is noted among the violators.

Emirati Women Traffic Violators

The remaining seven violators are Emirati women, whose names have not been revealed. Collectively, they have committed approximately 1,137 violations with fines totaling about Dh701,480.
