The Impact of Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear
Jeremy Clarkson was one of the most prominent hosts of the popular car show Top Gear. After his departure on March 25, 2015, due to an altercation with a producer, the show lost a significant number of its fans. Clarkson is considered a key factor that contributed to making Top Gear one of the most famous automotive shows in the world.
Establishment of the New Production Company
Following his exit, Clarkson, along with his colleagues Richard Hammond and James May, partnered with producer Andy Wilman to establish a new production company named W. Chump & Sons Ltd.. This company will be responsible for producing their first car show, which will feature the iconic trio:
- Richard Hammond
- James May
- Jeremy Clarkson
The show will be aired on Amazon Video, with the first episode set to premiere on November 18. A new episode will be released every Friday, and so far, three seasons are expected to be produced.
