CEO Statements
In this context, Stephan Winkelmann, the President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, stated: "The Countach LPI 800-4 is an inspiring car for the present era, just as its predecessor was. As one of the most significant car icons, it not only embodies Lamborghini's advanced design and engineering principles but also represents our philosophy of reimagining the pinnacle of technology, achieving the unexpected and extraordinary. Most importantly, it embodies the 'legend of the dream.'"
The Countach LPI 800-4 pays homage to Lamborghini's legacy, but not in a retrospective manner. One can envision how the iconic Countach from the 1970s and 1980s could evolve into an elite super sports model in this decade. It supports Lamborghini's tradition of looking forward, exploring new design and technology pathways while celebrating the genetic heritage of our brand. It is the Lamborghini that instinctively expresses the enduring and emotional power of the brand: to always be inspiring, exciting to see and hear, and most importantly, to drive."
