Al-Futtaim Automotive has announced the launch of the seventh generation of the Lexus ES, renowned for its unparalleled levels of comfort and luxury. This launch took place across Al-Futtaim Lexus showrooms in the UAE, marking over eight years of being the largest distributor of eco-friendly luxury vehicles and a leader in sustainable mobility.
Design and Performance
Following six generations of unprecedented success in the luxury sedan category, the 2019 Lexus ES has taken a remarkable leap forward with its stunning coupe-like design, enhanced performance levels, and innovative technologies that set this vehicle apart.
New Models
- ES 300h Hybrid: This model combines a gasoline engine with two electric motors, allowing customers to contribute to a sustainable future without compromising on driving experience.
- F-SPORT: Elevating driving pleasure to new heights, this model features a bold exterior and various enhancements including a specially tuned suspension system and large 19-inch wheels.
Efficiency and Economy
The ES 300h hybrid electric vehicle achieves an impressive 24.1 kilometers per liter of gasoline, enabling it to cover up to 1205 kilometers on a single fuel tank without the need for refueling.

Mohammed Maqtari, Executive Director of Al-Futtaim Lexus, stated: "The first generation of the best-selling sedan was launched in 1989. Over the past 30 years, the Lexus ES has evolved significantly and has become a staple in many households and fleets, thanks to its renowned quality and unmatched reliability."
He added: "The Lexus ES is a leading sedan in our luxury vehicle lineup, accounting for over 70% of our sedan sales. With the introduction of the new hybrid electric model, we anticipate an increase in sales as businesses and individuals strive to accelerate their sustainability goals outlined in the UAE Vision 2021."
Colors and Exterior Design
The exterior design is available in ten striking colors, including two new shades: "Sunlit Green" and "Ice Ecru." The sporty F-SPORT model features two stunning colors: "White Nova" and "Heat Blue."
Engine and Performance
The ES 350 is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a new 8-speed direct transmission, featuring an updated D4-S fuel injection technology. This engine produces 301 horsepower, representing a notable 11% increase compared to the previous model, while delivering a fuel efficiency improvement of 16%.
The new ES 250 comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, producing 13% more power and achieving a 25% better fuel efficiency, covering 17.2 kilometers per liter of gasoline.

The all-new ES is available at all Al-Futtaim Lexus showrooms across the UAE, with prices starting at AED 195,000.
