History of the Trofeo Lineup
Maserati is writing a new chapter in its journey with the expansion of the Trofeo lineup. Following the launch of the Levante Trofeo, a high-performance SUV, in 2018, Maserati is now introducing the Quattroporte Trofeo and Ghibli Trofeo, designed to epitomize luxury and superior performance.
Design of the Trofeo Lineup
Emphasizing Maserati's authentic Italian identity, the colors of the Italian flag have been chosen to launch the new Trofeo lineup:
- Quattroporte in green
- Levante in white
- Ghibli in red
These models feature chrome accents and striking red highlights, giving the lineup a bold and radiant appearance.
Engine Performance
Maserati redefines the concept of its sedans by equipping them with an 8-cylinder engine. Both the Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo are powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine, producing an impressive 580 horsepower at 6,250 RPM and a torque of 730 Newton meters.
This engine, which has previously demonstrated its exceptional power with the Levante Trofeo, is manufactured at Ferrari's factory in Maranello, tailored to Maserati specifications, and has been modified for outstanding performance comparable to rear-engine sedans.
Manufacturing Locations
The Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo will be manufactured at the Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli Plant (AGAP) in Grugliasco (Turin), while the Levante Trofeo will be produced at the Mirafiori Plant (Turin).
