Middle East Motor Tuning Show: Car Audio and Custom Bikes

The car crazy tribe came together to celebrate the Middle East Motor Tuning Show. This time, the tribe included not just UAE enthusiasts but also international participants from the US, China, and Germany. Over 40 vendors came from the United States alone, with some looking for distributors in the UAE, while others promoted their unique brands of customization to the local market. Local patrons such as Top Speed Performance Parts, ProFoil, Sea Star, Off Road Zone, and G Force Performance from Al Ghandi Automobiles were also present. There are two growing communities that I want to focus on, as they basically overtook the entire exhibition this year:
Car Audio

It was great to see the growing car audio community in the UAE. The customizations in car audio range from simple installations to sophisticated carbon fiber-based work that could cost an enthusiast thousands of dirhams. For example, the car above cost 19,500 AED to modify. Thierry Gaye, who regularly organizes European Mobile Music Manufacturers (EMMA) car audio contests in the UAE, mentioned that this was their largest gathering by far and they have another event lined up next month as well.
Custom Bikes

Surprisingly, there seemed to be more custom bike vendors at the exhibition than custom car vendors. The biker community included:
- Biker clubs like Chopper Kulture
- Custom bike manufacturers such as Custom Bikes Dubai
- Bike repair vendors in Dubai like Lycan Customs
- Bike accessories traders like Dr. Custom
Oh yes, Harley Davidson was there too, but I almost missed them!
