Details of the Parking Development

The Sharjah Urban Planning and Survey Department has announced the introduction of 40,000 new parking spaces, and the locations for these sites have been forwarded to the Sharjah Municipality for implementation.

Number of Sites and Projects

• A total of 43 plots of land will be utilized.
• Multi-story parking facilities will be constructed on these sites to alleviate parking issues.

Additional Infrastructure Improvements

Moreover, 17 pedestrian crossings have been designated as part of this initiative.

Bus Stations

Additionally, they have added bus stations, bringing the total to 768 stations across the emirate.

Investment in Road Development

The Director of the Sharjah Urban Planning and Survey Department, Al-Muhairi, stated that 18 million dirhams have been allocated for the improvement of internal roads in Sharjah.
