Parking Fees in Sharjah During Eid Al-Adha

Details of Parking Fees

The Public Parking Department at the Sharjah Municipality has confirmed that drivers must continue to pay for parking in certain areas of Sharjah during the upcoming Eid Al-Adha holiday. Although most areas will offer free parking on Arafah Day and during the holiday itself, motorists visiting popular vital areas will be subject to hourly parking fees.

Areas Without Free Parking

The areas that will not provide free parking include:

• Al-Hisn in Al-Shuweihen and Al-Sheikhs areas
• Bird and Animal Market in Al-Jubail
• Central Market in Al-Majaz
• Lake Corniche in Al-Majaz 1, 2, and 3

All other areas in Sharjah will enjoy free parking from August 19 to August 24 in celebration of Eid Al-Adha.

History of Free Parking

Since March 2018, the Sharjah Municipality has discontinued free parking on weekends and public holidays in many vital areas due to numerous complaints regarding prolonged parking durations.
