Today, SAIC Motor represents the Chinese automotive sector at Expo 2020 Dubai, unveiling its autonomous and new energy vehicle prototype, the KUN, at its booth in the China Pavilion.

The official opening of Expo 2020 Dubai took place on October 1. The latest prototype, KUN, is set to be one of the main attractions at the Chinese pavilion, showcasing the robust, innovative, and advanced technologies currently being developed and manufactured in China.

KUN Design

SAIC Motor designed the KUN in collaboration with design teams located in both Shanghai, China, and London, UK. This prototype aims to provide a unique experience for visitors at the China Pavilion during Expo 2020 Dubai. It combines:

The company is experiencing significant growth in international markets, with international sales exceeding 370,000 vehicles and an impressive annual growth rate of 106.4%.

MG Brand Sales

Sales for the MG brand reached 182,000 vehicles, reflecting an annual increase of 83.9%. Approximately 40% of MG sales occurred in developing countries, while new energy vehicle (NEV) sales for self-owned brands in European countries such as the UK, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland totaled around 19,000 vehicles within one year.
