About the Winner
Salman Al Khater, hailing from Qatar, is the champion of the inaugural GT Academy Middle East challenge. He triumphed over thousands of competitors in the virtual realm of the PlayStation game Gran Turismo, where he piloted the Nissan 370Z.
His First Race
At 29 years old, Salman is a mechanical engineer who eagerly awaits September for his first professional race. He will compete in a Nissan 370Z Nismo at the world-famous Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom.
