Wi-Fi and 4G Connectivity

A portable hotspot if you wish, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity have started being offered in high-end offerings such as Audi and Mercedes-Benz. With a data sim card placed into a dedicated slot, drivers and passengers are able to connect their devices to this network and browse the web / stream music and videos without sacrificing precious mobile data.
Adaptive Cruise Control

A more advanced version of the standard cruise control that has been around for over a decade, Adaptive Cruise Control allows the vehicle to automatically adjust its speed and keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front. It may use a stereo camera, laser sensor, or radar to allow the car to brake once it detects it is moving toward another vehicle in front, and then accelerates when traffic allows.

Automated Parking

Several newer vehicles have technologies that allow them to park automatically in parallel and perpendicular bays. A few manufacturers take this up a notch by even integrating safe exit of parking bays whereby the vehicle relies on sensors and cameras to safely move out of a parking space. Manufacturers such as Audi and BMW also allow for vehicles to be parked remotely with the driver outside the vehicle.
Massage Seats

Massage seats are common in luxury vehicles, but this technology is becoming more accessible across the range. While the driver usually gets this perk, other passengers tend to feel neglected in lesser premium vehicles. Taking the case of Bentley and Mercedes-Benz the massage functionality in these vehicles is so advanced and invigorating that they claim to mimic exquisite hot stone massages to ensure occupants exit the vehicle fully relaxed.
