Volkswagen Launches #100SimpleJoysOfDriving Campaign in the Middle East

Volkswagen Middle East has launched its campaign #100SimpleJoysOfDriving to showcase driving behaviors in the region and highlight the joy of being behind the wheel. This initiative includes an initial list of 100 driving pleasures, and Volkswagen aims to expand this list by inviting all driving enthusiasts to join discussions and share their personal driving experiences on social media.
Survey and Favorite Experiences
According to a recent survey, when asked about their top three driving experiences, nearly half of the participants (45%) favored driving on empty city streets at night. Meanwhile, around 49% of respondents indicated that driving provides them with time to think, with singing loudly coming in as a close second.
Director's Statement
In this regard, Andrew Savas, Director of Volkswagen Middle East, stated: "Each person has unique traits that define their driving experience. Driving can evoke feelings of relaxation or excitement, and for some, it is an essential part of their lives. Volkswagen customers are central to our vehicle innovations, emphasizing the importance of celebrating the joy of driving with both male and female drivers in the Middle East, especially with the recent lifting of the ban on women obtaining driving licenses in Saudi Arabia."
New Opportunities for Women
Savas added: "Women in Saudi Arabia will soon have the opportunity to create their favorite driving experiences. This is a significant moment, and we are excited to celebrate this historic event together."
Supporting National Efforts
In support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to lift the ban on women driving, Volkswagen has launched a video campaign titled #100SimpleJoysOfDriving to celebrate the various emotions and joys that come from the driving experience.
