Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco, a vehicle that spanned thirty years from 1966 to 1996, holds a special place in the heart of off-road enthusiasts across the globe. The Bronco is set to make a global comeback, as confirmed by Ford’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer Raj Nair. The new Bronco will be based on the Ford Ranger Pick-Up Truck and is likely to hit markets by 2020.

At the 2017 North American International Auto Show, Nair confirmed that the all-new Bronco will fall dimensionally between the larger Bronco of the Nineties and the smaller Bronco of the Sixties. With the Explorer trading its off-road capability for refined on-road handling, the Bronco is set to take the Explorer’s once-held affordable off-roader position in the American manufacturer’s line-up.

Public Anticipation

While nothing more than the global announcement has been made so far, that hasn’t stopped Photoshop experts from producing numerous renders and enthusiasts from estimating retail prices. If this is an indicator of what’s to come, it’s clear that the Ford Bronco is a vehicle the people have been asking for. At a time when manufacturers are playing it safe, Ford’s bravery is extremely commendable.
