Introduction
Apart from showcasing the experimental S-Class Coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show, there was significant excitement surrounding another Mercedes-Benz vehicle, the 2015 GLA-Class compact crossover. The GLA serves as a premium variant of the A-Class and CLA-Class compact models.
Engine and Performance
The GLA-Class is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 208 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Mercedes-Benz claims that the GLA250 with 4Matic all-wheel drive can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.4 seconds. After the launch of the 4Matic version, a front-wheel-drive model is expected to follow, and the AMG GLA45 may also be on the horizon, although this has yet to be confirmed.
