The Mazda 6 is one of the most popular cars made and sold by the Japanese carmaker in the world. It’s also one of their flagship cars, the other being the massive CX-9 CUV. Exterior
I think the 2019 Mazda 6 is one of the best-looking cars, not just in this segment, but in general, period. The designers haven’t gone all ballistic with the curves, angles, and creases, but the 6 looks quite well-balanced and proportionate. As with their other cars, Mazda has cast their Kodo “Soul of Motion” spell on the 6 as well. The front is characterized by sleek headlights, bulging hood-design, a wide mesh grille with fancy chrome treatment, and nicely sculpted bumper.
The side profile is well-defined and portrays its svelte silhouette well. The sides also get uber-muscular and bulging front fenders but slightly less aggressive rear ones, stylish door-mounted mirrors, and chic alloy wheels. The more rounded rear of the new Mazda 6 gets a pair of taut taillights, bold bumper-design, and dual tailpipes. As for its exterior dimensions, the 2019 Mazda 6 is 4.850 meters in length, 1.840 meters in width, 1.450 meters in height, and has a 2.830-meter wheelbase. Meanwhile, the 6’s total boot capacity is just less than 420 liters.
Interior
The 2019 Mazda 6’s cabin is up-to-date as far as technology and features are concerned. It’s also a well-sorted place with decent creature comforts and impressive space for five occupants. Mazda’s build quality is great, and the materials used are nothing to smear at. The interior styling isn’t going to blow your mind, but it surely is classy and in keeping with the times.
The Mazda 6 comes well-equipped with features like leather upholstery, powered and ventilated front seats, electric sunroof, automatic LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, an 8-inch infotainment screen with navigation, automatic dual-zone climate control, all-around parking sensors and camera. Engine and performance
The 2019 Mazda 6 is offered with two, four-cylinder engines: - a 2.0-liter with 151 hp and 200 Nm, and a 2.5-liter with 188 hp and 256 Nm of torque. Both these engines send power to the front wheels and come mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission in the UAE, as standard.
The 188 horses in the SKYACTIV 2.5-liter Mazda 6 help it reach 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h. While the new 6 may not be too rapid for some buyers, it does return an average fuel economy of between 7.3-8.2 L/100 km, depending on the engine, of course.

The 2019 Mazda 6 sedan starts from AED 79,900 for the base trim, while the full-option variant with the bigger engine starts at AED 134,900. Meanwhile, insurance costs between AED 1,798 to AED 3,035.
