Last week, the annual Custom Show Emirates was held in Abu Dhabi. This was in conjunction with the Middle East Car of the Year awards to have a bigger impact and attract more visitors to the event. The event comprised of heavily modified cars from all across GCC (primarily Saudi Arabia) to be showcased in a way that’s similar to SEMA in the USA. Let’s look at some of the examples.

Let’s start off with a motorbike. This heavily customized motorbike looks like a cruiser bike. From the looks, it seems like it is a Harley Davidson as the information wasn’t there for us to really note the details of the bike. But what attracted everyone was the gold paintjob with black. It looked classy.

After that, it is time for the American icon – the Dodge Charger. This car was easy to identify as the artwork done is pretty simple and unique at the same time. The car followed the SuperBee theme – giving homage to the SuperBee version of the SRT. Overall, the car looked impressive and the owner seemed to have received many awards prior as shown in the picture.

Next up is this weird looking thing which is an Infiniti G35/37 with so many stickers that it has become impossible to identify the make and model of the car. This heavily stickered car is resembling some sort of metallic theme (most probably from a video game) and gives a unique perspective into the owner’s life.

Then came the long line of Corvettes. Not sure what was going on here exactly as they did not seem to be customized in any sort of way. Probably, it is just the paintjob as everything else seemed pretty much standard.

Last but not least, the iconic Honda Civic. This little Japanese sedan is a favorite among modders and as you can see, this particular example has been severely modified. The whole theme was red and black. The owner changed the headlights, rims, hood and added more lights in the engine bay to show off the various engine mods done.
