This event highlighted EXEED’s forward-looking technological leadership, with the REEV system demonstrating an exceptional combination of high performance and energy efficiency. Achieving a thermal efficiency exceeding 44.5% and an industry-leading oil-to-electricity conversion rate of 3.7 kWh/L, the REEV technology sets a new benchmark for excellence in the global automotive sector. 

During the event, prominent automotive media representatives from the Middle East conducted test drives of the ET REEV four-wheel-drive variant, which is equipped with this advanced technology. The empirical assessments highlighted the vehicle's outstanding performance, particularly its acceleration capability, achieving 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, which was highly commended by the media representatives.

As explained by Dr. Gao Xinhua, CTO of EXEED brand, the EXEED REEV System utilizes an innovative configuration that integrates both a generator and a drive motor. The system is powered by an independently developed fifth-generation high-performance range-extender engine, achieving a thermal efficiency exceeding 44.5%. The core components, including the range extender and drive motor, exhibit transmission efficiencies surpassing 98.5%, setting a new benchmark not only within the same vehicle class but also positioning EXEED as a global leader in transmission efficiency.

These exceptional thermal and transmission efficiencies enable vehicles equipped with the EXEED REEV Technology to achieve an impressive fuel-to-electric conversion rate of 3.7 kWh per liter of fuel, optimizing energy use to its fullest potential. Additionally, the system is paired with a high-performance range-extending battery that supports rapid charging, with the ability to charge from 20% to 80% SOC in just 17.5 minutes. The dual effects of “energy savings”and “energy expansion” effectively eliminate range anxiety, ensuring an optimal user experience.

Achieving an exceptional driving experience requires more than just superior energy efficiency; dynamic performance is also a critical factor. The EXEED REEV System is engineered to deliver a total output power of 345 kW and a peak torque of an impressive of 7,400 Nm. The system's performance is further enhanced by the high efficiency and high power characteristics of its integrated range-extender engine, dedicated generator, and drive motor, ensuring a robust balance between energy consumption and performance.

This advanced powertrain configuration enables the vehicle to maintain stable performance across a variety of complex driving conditions while delivering outstanding acceleration capabilities. Specifically, the ET REEV four-wheel-drive variant achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.8 seconds when fully charged, offering a driving experience comparable to that of pure electric vehicles.

All-Scene Intelligent Four-Wheel Drive: Maximizing Driving Performance Across Diverse Conditions

The EXEED REEV System is further augmented by an all-scene intelligent four-wheel drive (4WD) system, which incorporates advanced technologies such as the IAS intelligent air suspension and the CDC damping system. These components enable precise, millisecond-level adjustments to suspension damping, thereby ensuring optimal vehicle stability and comfort across a wide array of complex road conditions.

The system's intelligent torque vectoring control allows for dynamic 0-100% front-to-rear axle torque distribution, ensuring efficient utilization of power across all driving scenarios. Moreover, the EXEED 4WD system offers up to seven distinct driving modes, including specialized settings for sand and snow, which are designed to enhance vehicle performance in challenging environments. This comprehensive suite of features enables the vehicle to deliver an exceptional driving experience, regardless of terrain, while maintaining superior handling and safety.

Following his test drive of the ET REEV four-wheel-drive variant, the representative from Yallamotor, the largest automotive media in the Middle East, Mostafa Missary expressed strong approval of the vehicle's remarkable performance. According to the current press release, EXEED plans to launch the ET model in the UAE in the Q1 of 2025.
