Due to a change in the Audi Q7’s design, the car’s release has been pushed back by almost a year. The Q7 is now due late next year as a 2015 model.
This new Q7 will shed around 650 pounds from the curb weight, which makes it 5,300 pounds. Thanks to the use of aluminum and some composite materials in its construction as well as using smaller engines.
Talking about engines, it will include a 3.0 liter and 4.0 liter TFSI units and a 3.0 liter TDI. A plug-in hybrid might also be due.
As in for the interior, we’re expecting the usual elegant designs of Audi, with a third-row seating option.
