2016 Porsche Carrera 911: Specifications and Performance

Porsche has unveiled the 2016 Carrera 911 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. While not much has changed apart from the engine, the new 911 will now feature a turbocharged option to satisfy customers. Additionally, performance has improved significantly; the new Carrera is 10 seconds faster than its predecessor on the Nürburgring racetrack.

• Power output of 370 horsepower / 450 Nm of torque for the Carrera and 420 horsepower / 500 Nm of torque for the Carrera S
• The Carrera accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, while the Carrera S does it in 3.9 seconds
• Top speeds of 295 km/h for the Carrera and 305 km/h for the Carrera S
• 7-speed manual / PDK
• Porsche Active Suspension Management system
• New design for alloy wheels and rear lights
• Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system for entertainment, featuring a 7-inch display with various inputs and handwriting recognition
• The PCM system is compatible with Apple CarPlay, Google Earth, and Google Street View.
