Introduction
Audi has previously unveiled the two-door A5 and S5 coupe models, along with the four-door version for 2018. Now, Audi has launched the latest additions to this family: the 2018 Audi A5 and S5 convertibles, completing the lineup for market release next year.

Engines and Features
Audi A5
The Audi A5 comes equipped with five different engine options:
- Three TDI engines producing up to 286 horsepower with a 3.0-liter capacity.
- Two TFSI engines generating up to 252 horsepower.
The transmission options include:
- 6-speed manual transmission.
- 7-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission.
- 8-speed automatic transmission.
Regarding the interior design, Audi has maintained its signature style with some changes that we will explore later.
Audi S5
The Audi S5 is powered by a new 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine, producing 354 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This engine offers an increase of 21 horsepower and 60 Nm compared to the previous 3.0-liter supercharged six-cylinder engine. Additionally, it features an 8-speed automatic transmission.
New Enhancements
One of the updates shared by Audi for the A5 is a weight reduction of 40 kg compared to the previous model, along with a chassis that is 40% stiffer.
Launch of the Vehicles
These vehicles will be available for sale in Europe in the summer of 2017, followed by a short period before their release in other regions worldwide.
