2018 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG: Specifications and Performance
Introduction
In a previous article, we discussed the Basidon Edition of the Mercedes derived from the E63 AMG. We also explored the 2018 Mercedes E63 AMG and the spy photos that we managed to acquire. Recently, the full details of this vehicle have been unveiled, showcasing specifications that are more precise than what was previously known.
Specifications and Performance
It has been announced that this vehicle will be available in two versions of the E-Class, with the standard E63 and the more powerful E63S. The figures indicate that the standard version produces approximately 563 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, while the S version, powered by a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine, delivers around 603 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.
Acceleration Performance
- E63: Accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
- E63S: Accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.
- Competition with Cadillac CTS-V: 640 horsepower with a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds.
Transmission System
The vehicle is equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission with full 4Matic all-wheel drive, featuring a drift mode that allows the transmission to switch to normal mode while disabling the stability system in the E63S when set to drift mode.

Launch and Sales
