7 New Electronic Traffic Violations to Enhance Road Safety in Saudi Arabia

List of New Electronic Traffic Violations in Saudi Arabia:
- Driving on the shoulders and sidewalks or prohibited areas: It is prohibited to drive vehicles on the road shoulders, sidewalks, or lanes designated for other vehicles, as this endangers the lives of drivers and pedestrians.
- Failure to use headlights at night or in poor weather conditions: Drivers must use their front and rear lights when driving at night or in weather conditions that limit visibility to ensure safe sightlines and avoid accidents.
- Heavy trucks and equipment not adhering to right lane regulations: Trucks and heavy equipment must stick to the right lane on multi-lane roads to avoid collisions with other vehicles and ensure everyone's safety.
- Driving with unclear or damaged registration plates: Vehicles with unclear or damaged license plates due to rust, wear, weather conditions, or neglect are not allowed on the road, as this can hinder vehicle identification when necessary.
- Ignoring weight and dimension measurement stations: Heavy vehicle drivers must stop at weight and dimension measurement stations and comply with the signs and instructions present, as bypassing them without compliance is a traffic violation.
- Parking in unauthorized areas: Drivers must adhere to designated parking and stopping areas and refrain from parking in prohibited zones that may obstruct traffic flow and cause inconvenience to other drivers.
- Disobeying road traffic regulations: Adhering to traffic regulations and respecting road signs and lane markings is a primary priority for enhancing road safety and reducing accidents.
