The Mitsubishi Pajero is still going strong 35 years after it was introduced, with the first generation launched in 1982. Specs
The engine capacities of the various versions of the Pajero available in Qatar range from 3.0L to 3.8L. At the lower end, the 3.0L engine generates 184 horsepower and 267 Nm of torque, while at the higher end, the 3.8L engine packs 250 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque. Fuel economy ranges from 13L/100 km to 13.5L/100 km.
Verdict
When it comes to choosing between the Pajero and the Captiva, the deciding factor may ultimately boil down to practicality vs. power. The Captiva has a lower price range of QAR 77,000 to QAR 116,000, which means it provides better value for money. It also has superior fuel economy, ranging from 8.9L/100 km to 10.7L/100 km. On the other hand, the Pajero has more powerful specs as well as better off-road capability. You could say they target different needs at the end of the day.
