For around three years, Audi has been testing prototypes for the Audi S1.
The headlights shape looks similar to the ones on the latest A3. Engine would be a turbocharged 2.0 L 4-cylinder with more than 200 horsepower. Acceleration should be from 0-60 mph in around 6 seconds with a top speed of 140 mph. It is also expected for the S1 to get a quattro all-wheel drive, its own S-line trim and appearance enhancements and a sport-tuned suspension.
The pictures we see are spy shots of the 2014 Audi S1, covered in camouflage being tested on the track. And the reason behind why we haven’t seen Audi introduce its S1 yet is because the automaker has delayed the launch to coincide with the rollout of a facelifted A1 range.
