Jaguar E Pace Sets Guinness World Record at Launch
The newest entrant into the British marque’s line-up, the Jaguar E Pace, has set a Guinness World Record for completing a 270-degree corkscrew-like ‘barrel roll’ at its world premiere in London. The 15.3-meter long jump was completed by British stunt driver Terry Grant and works as a testament to the brand’s Art of Performance philosophy.

Performance and Safety Features
Victor of 21 Guinness World Record titles, Terry Grant, stated: “As far as I am aware no production car has ever cleanly completed a bona-fide barrel roll and therefore it has always been an ambition of mine to perform one ever since I was a boy. After driving the Jaguar F-PACE in the record-breaking loop-the-loop, it has been amazing to help launch the next chapter of the Pace family in an even more dramatic dynamic feat.”
Available with a range of Ingenium petrol engines, the 296-horsepower unit allows the E Pace to hit 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and sprint to an electronically limited top speed of 243 km/h. Configurable Dynamics gives the driver greater control of the vehicle with individual settings for the throttle, transmission, steering, and suspension.
Standard front and rear parking aids are complemented by the latest safety and driver assistance technologies, including:
- Autonomous Emergency Braking
- Pedestrian Detection
- Lane Keep Assist
- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Driver Condition Monitor
