Recently, the company achieved a significant milestone by delivering the first next-generation hydraulic fracturing transmission, known as the Allison FracTran™.
Key Features of the Allison FracTran
The FracTran has been developed from the ground up and is compatible with dual fuel engines that can operate on natural gas. It offers:

- Substantially reduced idle time
- Eight gear ranges with multiple ratios
- Outstanding reliability
- Service life of up to 25,000 hours
- Very low maintenance costs
Performance Metrics
The FracTran can handle up to 3,500 horsepower and an impressive 10,000 lb.-ft. of input torque. It features:
- Transmission-mounted control module
