Audi A8: The Luxury Car that Won the 2018 World Award
The all-new Audi A8 has clinched the World Luxury Car award for 2018 at the New York Auto Show, demonstrating that the A8 is the driving force behind technological advancements at the German automaker.
Criteria for Winning
The World Luxury Car award was presented by a panel of 82 automotive journalists and experts from 24 countries. Their voting considered several factors, including:
- Comfort and safety
- Environmental impact
- Driving performance
- Price-performance ratio
The Audi A8 outperformed its competitors, granting Audi its ninth victory at the World Car Awards.
Audi's Statements
Peter Mertens, Audi's Board Member for Development, stated, "This award is a true honor for us. We consider the Audi A8 to be the main engine of innovation across our entire business. Availability
The 2018 Audi A8 will be available at dealerships in the Middle East starting at the end of April.
