The compact sporty coupe impresses with its superior performance and athletic design, making it suitable for daily use, especially when equipped with the quattro all-wheel drive system that enhances driving pleasure. The RS Q3 Sportback is now available at Audi dealerships across the Middle East.
Executive Statement
Karsten Binder, the CEO of Audi Middle East, stated, "We are excited to introduce the new RS Q3 Sportback to our markets. The modern crossover coupe SUV has seen significant demand, and we are confident that it will satisfy customers with its outstanding performance, stunning design, and competitive pricing."
Sporty Appearance: Exterior Design
The new Audi RS Q3 Sportback embodies strength and exceptional performance, highlighted by its unique design featuring many distinctive details. The three-dimensional singleframe grille, designed in a glossy black honeycomb pattern, emphasizes the high performance of the compact coupe. This grille is mounted lower than that of the Q3 Sportback, integrated into a specially designed RS front bumper with large side air intakes. Above the singleframe grille are flat openings that reflect the authentic character of RS vehicles.
At the rear, the car showcases features that reflect its high-performance capabilities. The low rear window and the glossy black diffuser at the roof edge accentuate the car's width and dynamic specifications. The elegantly curved roofline flows over the flat rear pillars, suggesting strength. For the first time, the latest generation of the RS Q3 Sportback is equipped with a dual exhaust system, featuring large oval tailpipes on either side of the vehicle. This exhaust system is integrated into the RS-specific rear bumper, complete with a rear diffuser and horizontal blades.
The high-performance compact SUV is fitted with standard LED headlights, while Audi offers optional RS matrix LED headlights with dark surrounds.
Engine Specifications
The new RS Q3 Sportback is powered by a 2.5-liter five-cylinder TFSI engine, renowned for its exceptional power and numerous accolades. This engine delivers an impressive 294 kW (400 hp), which is 17% more than previous models, thanks to its displacement of 2480 cc. It produces a maximum torque of 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) at engine speeds between 1950 and 5850 rpm. The RS Q3 Sportback accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in just 4.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h (155.3 mph), which can be increased to 280 km/h (174 mph) as an optional feature.
The sequential ignition technology across cylinders 1-2-4-5-3 creates a distinctive sound for the engine. The dual exhaust system amplifies the signature sound of the five-cylinder engine, while the optional RS sports exhaust system further enhances the powerful engine note. The five-cylinder engine has won the "International Engine of the Year" award nine consecutive times.
The power from the five-cylinder engine is transmitted through a seven-speed S tronic transmission to the quattro all-wheel drive system. Both the transmission and the quattro system come as standard features, providing safe and comfortable driving through the torque vectoring control.
