Audi S6 Review: Performance and Design Insights
Tags:
The Audi S6 reminds me of the A6. It inherits all the specifications of the A6, but there’s something special about this car: a new 4.0 V8 twin-turbo engine that promises an extraordinary driving experience.
Exterior Design
It has often been said that the A6 has a dull appearance, and this holds some truth. Most buyers tend to look at the smaller A5 or the larger A7 for a more attractive design. The S6 doesn’t change much in this regard, except for the S-Line wheels, which feature a more monotonous design compared to the A6.
You will find the S badge on the front grille and hood, along with some V8 T emblems. The thickness of the S6 brakes has also been modified.
Is This a Negative Aspect?
It depends on what you want from your luxury sedan. If you're looking for something eye-catching, then this might not be your ideal choice. However, if you seek a standard sedan with some power, you won’t find a better option than the Audi S6.
Interior Features
I had no doubt that the S6 would excel in its interior design. Audi cars are known for their beautiful interior designs, and the S6 is not only an example of this but one of the best.
Design and Comfort
S6 badges are found on the dials, and the instrumentation reflects high-quality design. The seats are covered in diamond-stitched leather, providing maximum comfort. Every surface is adorned with real carbon fiber.

Driving Experience
With a power output of 420 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, my first drive was astonishing. The Quattro all-wheel-drive system ensures that you won’t hear the wheels spin while driving.
Acceleration to 100 km/h occurs in just 4.5 seconds, matching the speeds of a Porsche 911 and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
Conclusion
Like the speedy Audi A6, the S6 will impress you. Its interior is stunning, and the engine is magnificent, making for a delightful driving experience. Overtaking is remarkably easy.
However, while the vehicle excels in straight-line speed, it may lag behind in corners and turns.
If you're looking for a standout vehicle that surpasses your regular sedan, the S6 is an excellent choice at its price point. Just don’t expect a sporty driving experience.
