Car enthusiasts can now purchase special license plates without the need to participate in public or online auctions. The Roads and Transport Authority is now offering direct sales of these unique plates at customer service centers.

There are three current categories of license plates, priced between 1,600 AED and 1 million AED.

Pricing Details

According to Mohammed Abdul Karim Naemat, Director of Vehicle Licensing at the Roads and Transport Authority, they now offer license plates with two, three, and four digits. The prices vary depending on the series and the chosen number.

Different Sales Channels

This is the third channel that allows access to distinctive license plates, separate from public auctions and online options.

• Online auctions occur seven times a year.
• Public auctions take place only four times a year.
