The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with Dubai Municipality and other relevant service entities, announced its cleaning program for Dubai on Monday. The initiative will commence from Sheikh Zayed Road, where litter including grass and sand will be removed, with volunteers participating in the cleanup efforts.

Engineer Maytha bin Adi, the Executive Director of the Traffic and Roads Agency, stated that Sheikh Zayed Road was chosen as the starting point due to its vital importance and strategic location, which significantly influences both the aesthetic and urban aspects of the city. The approved program includes cleaning and dust removal from the medians.
